How long have you been in business?

How big are your aquariums?
After your initial consultation with Long Island Aquarium you will have decided what type of large fish tank you want and what types of fish, what size tank you will use. Our installation is complete and provides all the necessary filtration, pumps plumbing connections and other necessary devices. The size of your large fish tank will be a factor in deciding what size and how many fish and what type of fish you can have. Go Back to top

How much water do large tanks hold?
A large custom-designed fish tank can hold from a minimum of 55 gallons to hundreds of gallons of water depending on the size of your installation. Go Back to top

What are your tanks made out of?
Your large fish tank can be made out of glass or acrylic. Acrylic aquariums are the most popular in custom designs to fit your home. Although acrylic is more prone to scratching than glass (scratches can be polished out) it is also more expensive. Unlike glass with its reflective properties, acrylic will not change the color of the fish or tank contents. Acrylic also will not distort your view at certain angles as glass can. Go Back to top
